txinfo - output descriptive information about texture file

SYNOPSIS

txinfo txtname

DESCRIPTION

txinfo reads a PhotoRealistic RenderMan texture file called txtname and outputs a page of descriptive information about the texture file on stdout. txinfo also checks the file for correct texture format; these checks are more stringent than those performed by the PhotoRealistic RenderMan renderer and may help to find problems caused by bogus texture files.

BUGS AND LIMITATIONS

There should be some control over the amount of detail in the report.
There is always room for more stringent file format checking.
