Dragon Plush is an asset look developed by artist Julia Boisvert and modeled by Evan Dickinson from a concept by Emmalie Hall for a group short titled Serendipity.
The multi-layered felt groom was developed in Houdini and rendered using RenderMan and LamaHairChiang shaders. The character consists of a variety of materials and hair types created using a mixture of Substance Painter, Houdini, and RenderMan for Maya.
...and if you're wondering how a plush becomes a magical dragon, don't forget to check out the short film Serendipity!
