Taraji is the creation of artist Alejandro Alvarez and was achieved using Zbrush, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and RenderMan.

Taraji means Hope in Swahili. Her jewels, makeup, and clothes are a great way to explore different materials in RenderMan. The skin material was developed using the best practices at Pixar for skin rendering, so download the asset and have fun learning!

Alejandro Alvarez

Alejandro Alvarez is a 3D artist with a background in industrial design. During the last 13 years he’s collaborated in many projects, while working in different production roles. He’s currently a Senior 3D Character Artist.
