This is the official asset for RenderMan's "Magic Shop" Art Challenge. This collection of models were created by Eman Abdul-Razzaq, Grace Chang, Ethan Crossno, Siobhán Ensley, Derrick Forkel, Felege Gebru, Damian Kwiatkowski, Jeremy Paton, Kylie Wijsmuller, and Miguel Zozaya as part of their Pixar Undergraduate Program, or PUP, as well as by Pixar technical artist Leif Pedersen.
For the first time in a RenderMan Art Challenge, you can use a fully rigged Maya character. The famous Mathilda Rig is an amazingly versatile Maya rig modeled by Xiong Lin and rigged by Leon Sooi.
Mathilda is sure to give your artwork some character magic!
Thanks to a collaboration with our friends at SpeedTree, you can try a full working version for 30 days. For more information on how you can use the leading vegetation creation tool for the "Magic Shop" Art Challenge, head over to the SpeedTree Forums >

SpeedTree conversion instructions:
Since 2008, Pixar has invited a few promising undergraduate technical artists to intern at Pixar as part of the Pixar Technical Undergraduate Program, otherwise known as "PUP," where they spend the summer learning Pixar's pipeline from people working in production, getting to know both the tools and philosophies Pixar uses to make animated feature films.
For those interested in joining the program, please visit the Pixar website and if you want to learn a little more about what it's like to be a PUP, check out this fun article on 2017 PUPs.
